Our Mission
We aim to empower young musicians with limited financial resources to pursue their artistic passions without the fear of financial burden.
We are dedicated to being a consistent resource that provides musicians with the financial support they need to overcome barriers in their artistic journey.

What we do
The Intermezzo Fund awards micro-grants of up to $250 to high school musicians in Southeast Michigan with limited financial resources, in order to offset “invisible” costs of pursuing music.
We recognize that pursuing music, either as a career or a hobby, comes with financial barriers, and Intermezzo strongly believes that an individual’s financial situation should not have to hinder their opportunity for participation.
